Onam and Indian Culture

India is named for its culture and diversity. There are many different religions and celebrations all over. I am from a small village in south India which is entirely different from the northern part. The state I am from have an occasion named Onam, and I love to celebrate onam. We dress up in Indian attire have good food and go to temples. These attires are called kurti and love wearing Indian attires. The jewelry is another master piece. The design, the oxidized earrings which looks too heavy but not heavy at all and looks so glam and gives it a complete up lift. These dresses are hand made and each and every embroidery done is by hand and with love. Every Indian wear gives the person who wear it a confidence and makes them feels like themselves. Comfortable and trendy.
